close to beaches, national parks, lake and shops - all only 3 hours from Sydney.

Calm Waters Waterfront Cottages are 5 delightfully restored 1940s holiday cottages nestled on 1 acre of private waterfront land in the heart of Sussex Inlet.
Each cottage is fully self contained with all modern convenience. Polished timber floors inside lead to your own verandah overlooking the crystal clear waters of the inlet.

There is ample room at Calm Waters for on-site parking and group recreational activities with a wood barbeque in the central park area. Friendly kangaroos often laze under the shady trees overlooking the calm waters of Sussex Inlet.
Sussex Inlet township is an easy 2 minute stroll with all facilities including shopping centre, bank, cafés, art gallery, restaurants, club and bait & tackle.

Everything we wished for a short Easter break. Located in a small, convenient and friendly town, our cottage had waterfront views and kangaroos visited daily. The service was extremely friendly and helpful and the cottage was beautifully set up for our stay. The cottage was clean, neat and had all the facilities we needed. It was good value seeing as our whole family stayed and even our dog. The atmosphere of the area was fantastic, and it was a great time to spend with family. I would defintely go back again."

"Accomodation was clean and tidy and as expected for a 1940s bungalo. Location was excellent with good access to the river. Views to the river are restricted from Bungalo 5 which is the "Pet Friendly" bungalo.
Fencing is around the full area, not around Bungalo 5 as some of the pictures on the web site may depict. Generally speaking a lovely spot for a quiet getaway with very welcolming owners without being over the top."

The friendly help of Conchita and Perry really made our visit extremelly enjoyable. As my mother is aged and has limited movement we thought the pontoon would be out of the question, but not with Perry's help. I wouldn't stay anywhere else after experiencing the clean comfortabe and quaint accomodation, not to mention being right on the water.

"Our stay at Calm Waters was wonderful. The cottages are very clean, comfortable and well set up with everything that you could possibly need. The location is excellent, we arrived on Friday and did not get back in the car until it was time to leave on Sunday as everything is a short walk away. Conchita and Perry are excellent hosts we really loved the fact that we could get in early on Friday and leave late on Sunday getting true value for money for our weekend away."

We stayed at Calm Waters in July and loved it. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, gorgeous setting. Definitely will stay again . Just need to know that the shower rose has been fixed. Rating 4.75/5
